Uber Eats and George’s Bakery Parkdene not refunding money

Please don’t use Uber Eats? On 28 June 2025 I ordered from George’s Bakery Parkdene, One of the items was not delivered, they did not have stock. R166 was lost. Not the bakery and not Uber Eats were willing to refund me!!! Is this fair or is that how they do business? I will never buy from either of them again and I will let people know how they operate.
