Uber drivers take our food and dont deliver

The driver called once after not reaching us he left with the food, a whole bucket of kfc, and on the chat he says he called and waited for about 20 minutes after which he left the food on the floor. We asked our neighbour for cctv footage as we were baffled by his claim, the man was not even at the gate first off, he didnt even wait for 20 minutes worse he didn't even take the food out. When we queried this on the app they gave us a run around, its literally been a year later and they've mized us. no feedback, no refund nothing.
