Too many delays with UberEats

I have been a regular user of Uber Eats since their inception. But my last 3 deliveries have all had some sort of delay. I don't feel it's appropriate to 'share' my delivery with another user. I'm paying a delivery fee yet I must wait and receive cold food. The other excuse is that the store has more than one order to prepare. Why should that be my problem if I'm paying a delivery fee?
