THEFT!! **************** from UberEats Drivers

On 22 December I placed an order on UberEats with Romans Pizza Industria at 12:00 for 2 pizzas at the value of R261.35 By 13:33 I received a notification to say my food has been delivered by the Uber Driver Holics. After going outside and waiting for him, the app specified that the order was completed and no more comments could be made on the app I then contacted Romans Pizza Industria directly to enquire and they informed me to contact UberEats. After doing this telephonically I got no response. I continuously contacted Romans pizza who did not assist whatsoever because UberEats have a gap in which one can dispute an order. This to me is just a tactic to delay communications in order for UberEats not to take responsibility for their drivers *****ing orders and then pretending to deliver food. I have proof of all of the communications with UberEats, Roman Pizza Industria AND Roman Pizza head office. Still, to date!!! No response, no communication and NO accountability from either company, Uber and Romans to make amends for what is in plain language THEFT! Not only was I made aware of the fact that I am not the only person that has experienced this issue, but Nazeer from Romans was kind enough to tell me that the Uber drivers get hungry towards the end of shift. But is it MY responsibility to feed them on my account? The audacity! I want UberEats to take responsibility for their drivers and I want my money back!
