KFC Bergbron and the UberEats delivery man by the name of Abdullah.

At 17:27 I placed an order of a twister, colonel burger, regular chips and small chips from KFC in Bergbron on Gordon road.

Firstly, the order took more then an hour to be prepared, eventually Abdullah left KFC at 18:35. I stood at my gate for about 5mins only to see that Abdullah had delivered my order but was nowhere insight. 5 mins later I decided to go drive out and go check if he was at KFC so I could find out who he had delivered my food to. On my way to KFC the following complex had a number of delivery men waiting at the gate, so I decided to stop and find out if Abdullah was there by any chance. Luckily he was indeed there but only to find out that he had given my order to the incorrect person and began to play the blame game that I had inserted the incorrect address. I then showed the correct address and order from my phone and then realized that he was at fault. He proceeded to tell me that he had sent Uber a message that was going to be delivered to KFC to redo my order because the money was already debited from my account with no food on sight.

I decided to take his numbers so I could do a follow up once he arrived at KFC and find out how long the food will take to be prepared again as it was already 8 mins to 19:00 and having the restaurants closing soon due to the lockdown level 4 regulations. He reassured me that my order was going to be prepared and delivered to the correct address the second time around.

20 mins had passed after separating, I gave him a call to check on the status of my order. He told me he will no longer be the one delivering the food but reassured me again that my order would arrive, by this time it was around 19:20. When I called him again, he said he is unable to check on the status of my order. I then asked him to reverse my money back into my account because the money had already been debited with no food. He started telling me that he won’t be able to reverse my money now and he will do it tomorrow. This is extremely poor service towards KFC Bergbron and well as the UberEats driver. Kindly please reverse my money back into my account as I was charged for food that never made it to my hands.
