Refund not paid out for undelivered food

Hi.

We ordered takeout on Friday evening. After around 40 minutes, we were called and informed they do not actually have the food that we ordered and whether we would like something else instead. We didn't want something else and rather made a new order at a different restaurant. The first one informed us they will contact UberEats to cancel our order.

This made us believe that our money will be refunded, but it will probably take a while. By Tuesday, nothing has happened and we lodged a complain. Suddenly we were informed that we can't be refunded since 48 hours has passed. It is not like we waited to complain, but waited for the refund to go through and then complained.

This is not very cool and basically *******.
