PROMO CODES DO NOT WORK

So I received a promo code via email to receive 8 free wings from Roco Mamas when I purchase for more than R200.00 from them via the APP. I should select the wings and then apply the promo code "GETWINGS" to apply the reduction.

I was unable to select the code although it was made available on my account. I raised this issue with UBER Eats who confirm that the code is available and I should use it against my next order.

I responded by saying this is unacceptable and they should credit my order with the value of the promo (R88.00) (my order was R330)

They then responded to me saying the the promo was for a "specific group" of people and therefore they cannot adjust the cost of my order

This is totally unacceptable.
