Physically Assaulted by Uber Eats driver from Uber Eats Market Rosebank

1. I ordered some groceries from Uber Eats Market Rosebank on Wednesday 15 May 2024, around 10:40 or so the food was scheduled to arrive. 2. They were delivered by XKV228GP as provided in the picture attached. The name of the driver is Mwanje 3. Patrick with asylum number PTA UGA***4. The uber driver refused to deliver my food at my door and ordered me to “come down and collect your food yourself! I’m tired and you can walk down yourself!”. He sounded visibly irritable and sounded intoxicated. I simply went to down stairs with the phone in my hand and bear footed to get the packages. As I approached I noticed that he was visibly irritable and had the 2 packets on the basket of his motorcycle and fiddling on his devise. 4. As I reached for them and held one, whilst waiting for him to request the pin, he violently asked me “who said you can touch them” and I said "what do you mean" he said "you are supposed to give me the pin, what's the ****ing pin?!" before I could give him my pin, he hit the package off my hand violently (resulted in my finger swelling up) 5. I was wearing a light towel as I was forced to leave my apartment to go get the deliveries as the Uber eats driver refused to deliver to my door. He tried to take it off me, and I was left exposed. I adjusted the towel and the security was approach 6. My phone was also on my hand and fell with the package fell. He then kicked my phone across across the concrete floor and it hit against the wall. I immediately screamed for security - "security, security please come", but he wasn't immediate in his response "security come help me!!!"... "help!!!" 7. I immediately feared for my life as he was also covered in a barsclava and his face was not well exposed. 8. As this was happening I looked back and saw that he kicked me on my leg twice and forced my leg against the exhaust which immediately burnt my leg and I suffered terrible burns on my leg. I then called the security and the police and armed response were called to the scene. 9. As the police was being called the driver called Uber Eats to have my account so as to prevent me from reporting the situation or appear as though he was the aggrieved party (and Uber Eats blocked my account and I couldn’t report). 10. I went to the police station and also the hospital at casualty and a J88 inspection was administered. Now struggling to get a hold of Uber Eats Market Rosebank - we’ll be pursuing ******** charges against the Uber Eats Driver and civil litigation against Uber Eats Rosebank Market for the incident and all medical bills as well as pain and suffering experienced 11. The photos of the man as identified on point 2 is enclosed herein. 12. I need urgent assistance to report the driver and have him blocked. He should not be permitted to work with people and let alone deliver to people's homes. I fear for my life in the case that he comes back and attempts to attack me, having initiated the reporting of the incident with the police and further seeking damages for the suffering and injury endured.
