Ordered food and never received or driver took the food

I had a very frustrating experience with Uber Eats. I ordered food, waited, and even drove to where the driver was idling for the counter to reach 8 minutes. Despite all this effort, I never received my food. When I contacted Uber support, they simply said they couldn't refund me because the driver arrived and waited. After multiple back-and-forths, I gave up and deleted the app. I've since switched to Mr D Food and haven’t had any issues. Using Uber Eats feels like a gamble—definitely not worth the hassle.
