Order not deliverd, driver ignored instructions, no immediate support from uber eats.

I placed an order on Uber Eats which took over 3 hours to arrive. The driver had the wrong pin location (although on the same street), but as soon as I noticed this, I sent him a note with the correct building name and clear instructions. Despite this, the driver ignored my note, did not follow directions, and was unreachable when I tried calling and messaging him through the app.

Instead of handing me the food or contacting me, he **left the order outside**—at an unknown location—while I was still asking him for directions. I could not go outside to search for it as it was late and safety is a serious concern, especially in South Africa where kidnappings are increasing. I never received the order, but the app marks it as "delivered".

I logged a complaint through Uber Eats support, but I was informed that it will take 24 hours to get a response. I find this unacceptable as I paid in full and did not receive my food or any real-time assistance. I am extremely disappointed with the driver’s negligence and the lack of urgency in resolving this matter.

I request a full refund and action taken against the driver for not following instructions and failing to deliver the order.
