Lack of safety precautions!

Good day.

Totally disgusted with #Apple #CapitecBank #MTNSouthAfrica and #UBEREats.

On Friday evening my daughters #AppleiPhone was ******. They managed to get into her phone even though she had TWO different unlock features. After realising her phone has been disconnected from her #AppleWatch she contacted #CapitecBank to inform them of the theft and asked that her account be blocked immediately as her card is connected to Apps on her phone, such as #UBEREats.

Saturday morning we visited #AppleStore to have her information wiped from her phone however we were told that all they can do is flag that the phone has been ****** and nothing can be done to prevent a breach of your information! Even though she is signed out of her #Apple account they still trying to log into her account. We then visited #MTN to have the sim card blocked as we realised they were accessing her details however #MTN could not assist with that either!

I was even contacted via my daughters WhatsApp with a demand for money or else they will release all her information. Needless to say that request was ignored!

Although we had already contacted #Capitec, we realised Saturday afternoon that these people were having a absolute blast on #UBEREats, I ordering from 6 different outlets to the value of R20 000!

My concern is how the hell is it possible to unlock an #AppleiPhone with more than one security feature, then easily access your information and go on an #UberEats shopping spree AFTER your #CapitecBank account has been blocked?

How is it that #AppleStore and #MTN can’t block your phone or sim???? What happens to your limit linked to your #Capitec account? How can #UBEREats allow numerous different transaction going of your account at the same time in different PROVICES!?!?
