I was ****** on my birthday

09 Jun 2026, 09:57It was my birthday on the 6th of June , I ordered chateaux gateaux Pavilion via Uber eats.

Driver Edward contacted me to confirm that he has arrived at my work address, I told him there seems to be a mix up with the address I’m at however the address that I was currently at was 5 minutes away so when the driver phoned I told him to please come to the current location as I was at the salon doing makeup for my birthday celebration, he agreed then moments later I phoned him again since I saw that he has not arrived he didn’t take my calls but marked the order as delivered on the app.
I logged a complaint on the app the response came back as I’m not eligible for refund, how ridiculous it’s a a day light ******* paying R773.10 only for the order to be taken / eaten by Uber driver after 8 minutes. The rightful thing that should have been done is to be charged for delivery fee / cancellation
Like really why mark my order as delivered if you know damn well that I did not receive it that is day light *******, ****, *****ulent.
