How Uber Eats reward their customers for violence

Good Day. How this mail finds you well.

Below a recollection of an event that caused my uber eats account to be blocked, which as a result I could not provide for my family during this Covid -19 pandemic as well as a personal loss.

A month ago on the 9th of June 2020 at 6:61pm South African time I collected an order from Burger Bistro, Montana, Pretoria to be delivered to 273 Pongola Ave, Sinoville, Pretoria.

The customer did not collect the order after the standard 10min waiting period before we could cancel the order, As I drove away from the customers house, I managed to get hold off the eater and advised that I will make a U-turn and will drop off the order. When I pulled up to the eaters house the second time, the eaters husband meet me out and verbally abused me, it was at that point the man attempted to enter my vehicle to what I assumed was to physical abuse me, it was at that time that I decided that I needed to protect myself and sped off while taking physical damage private vehicle at actions of the husband. I decided to drive back to the restaurant as I felt that was the safest place to be.

While trying to contact Uber support to report the incident, the eater called the restaurant, at which I managed to talk to the eater and I advised that I will not drive back to their residents and that it will be best if the eater wishes they can collect the food themselves at the restaurant under the watchful eyes of the restaurant employees and security to avoid anymore confrontation with the eater and her husband but the eater told the restaurant manager that they will not collect.

It has now been a whole month at my account has been blocked, and unable to make any deliveries and that means I could not provide food for my family is whole month and plus I need to take my vehicle into a Bodyshop to get the dents knocked out and well as a polish to remove the scratches marks caused by the eaters husband after kicking the side of my vehicle. I have been told by the area manager (Christian) on the Friday 26th of June, that my account was only blocked because an investigation had to be conducted and that my account would be reopened within three (3*) hours, it is now 2 weeks later but no action has been taken. Yesterday 6th of July at 12:30 I had an appointment with Uber Pretoria Green Hub and was advised that my account would be reopened at the end of business and again today no action on my account has been made.

I had a second appointment on the 9th July 2020 and this time the call the lady on the phone made me wait for a very long time while she waits for the only apparat manager (Christian) to reactive my account but again one week later my account is till blocked.

My request to you is that you please request why my account has not been activated, how will I be reimbursed for my loss as well as trauma and I would like proof that the eater and her husband's accounts were also blocked during the investigation. Hopefully action will be taken, and my concerns will be heard when it is posted on Hello Peter as well social media.
