Horrible and dishonest drivers

I ordered food on uber eats the driver took his time he eventually came however didn't have change for r200 My order was r164 the order was canceled while he stood in front of me and he said it's fine he took my r200 and reported that I did not pay for the order I did this in front of a number of people. I tried ordering food a few days after only then did I see u have an amount due and he advised the restaurant I didn't pay. I reported to uber and was told I did not report in 48 hours according to their policy so I have to pay for a dishonest driver and this is my 2nd or 3rd experience I end up paying double. It's horrible service.
