Forced to Join saving program as app would not move to payment screen

I was busy placing an order on UberEats, and when I tried to check out, the app refused to process the payment until I pressed this ‘join’ option. It’s unbelievable the tactics being used to force my hand. I had to reorder because the priority seemed to be for me to join this ‘save’ program rather than simply pay.
