Don’t order from Uber eats. They don’t value the safety of their customers!

Worst experience with a company! I pay this Uber eats R50 a month for a service fee only to receive the worst service and get my money ****** from me. I ordered pizza using this app from bin Rashied to deliver in watergate at my workplace. The driver 1st of all failed to use the GPS address as he was getting lost. I took it upon myself to explain the directions to him multiple times over the phone and on their app. The driver then became irate and told him if I want my food I should meet him at the R300 bridge next to watergate mall. This driver then proceeds to mark my order as delivered took a random picture of the food left on the floor on a random street. When I flagged this with Uber eats I was told I will not be getting money back. So now I’ve lost my money and I didn’t get the food I ordered. The driver told them a lie about waiting more than 8mins for me which is incorrect as I was outside of my office immediately he said he had arrived.

It’s so disappointing that in this day and age Uber eats doesn’t value the safety of its customers, imagine being told to meet a random man at an unsafe location in order to get your food.

So basically i needed to risk my life in order to get my order. Uber eats also has a code which the driver needs to get from me. How is it that this driver was able to mark my food as delivered without the code?

I want my money and I will never use your service again.
