Do not use, avoid at all costs.

South African food delivery services work very well overall, some really delivering exceptional service. Uber Eats is the notable exception. What attracted me to using Uber Eats was the ability to use PayPal which is very handy to those of us working online. That is the only reason why a person might ever contemplate using Uber Eats. I have made several orders over the last couple of weeks, mostly pickups (which work well because the drivers are not involved in the process). Of the two orders I made that involved delivery both failed, which gives them the unique distinction of a 100% failure rate. If that were not enough and perhaps to rub salt into the wound Uber Eats does not refund the second failure. Perhaps the reasoning being, you have obviously not learnt your lesson the first time, so we are not going to refund you stupid! Any organization with such a callous disregard for its customers should be avoided at all costs. If they are using the same drivers in their other customer ferry operations one can only agonize over the fate of those poor benighted passengers using the service. In fact I think I would rather accept a ride from a Somali pirate than the venal or wholly inept Uber driver who (and I am being generous here) attempted to deliver my last order. Caveat emptor the saying goes you have been warned!

ps If I have offended any Somali pirates I do apologize. I was looking for a more relatable figure of speech, one that did not appear completely fantastical.
