DISHONESTY OF UBEREATS DRIVERS

We ordered food on the UberEats app. on 28 October 2022 in Cape Town South Africa. After a struggle to get the order done, we received the notification that payment went off our bank account and that the restaurant is buzzy to prepare. The next notification came from the driver, Alexis, that he is on his way to deliver our food at our correctly given address. The driver then sent us the notifications via the app after an hour and said that he was at our doorstep, but we did not see any driver although we were waiting outside for him. We tried to call him and did not get through to his phone. After an hour and a half, the delivery showed as "Delivered" on the app but WE NEVER RECEIVED OUR FOOD AND THEREFOR WE ARE SURE THAT THE DRIVER, ALEXIS, TOOK OUR FOOD. UBEREATS ALSO DO NOT WANT TO ASSIST AND TAKE LIABILITY FOR THE DISHONESTY AND THEFT OF THEIR DISHONEST DELIVERY DRIVERS LIKE ALEXIS. WE WILL NEVER MAKE USE OF THEIR SERVICE AGAIN AND WOULD ALSO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY OTHER PERSON.
