Delivery not done however UberEats didnt issue a refund

I placed an order for wings at Chicken Licken via Ubereats.

I have been trying to contact Ubereats regarding a past order. I have spoken to your support team, however they are telling me that they can’t find the account.

I had an issue with the driver, Nkululeko Keath. I sent him a number to dial the intercom which is linked to my number, he sent a message that the code was not working, I then told him that he needs to press dial as per my clear instructions that I have sent and not press code. He did not do that. I then generated a code and sent it to him. He still did not use the code but sent a picture saying that he left the food by the gate, the picture clearly shown he left it on the ground. There are security guards there and they said they did not see him or the food. The food was never found, i.e. I did not receive the order.

1st Issue I am having:

1. Who leaves food on the floor unattended. Anything can happen, in this intense the food went missing but worse could have happened, we could have gotten food poisoning from the ground that he left the food on, its unhygienic. That’s a safety issue. 2. When I called him to try and figure out where he left the food, he hung up on me.

I have provided all the evidence attached.

I will humbly ask that this guy is removed from delivery, this cannot be happening to another customer. He is not considerate and clearly doesn’t know anything about food safety. He is a risk to the ubereats business.

2nd issue: • When trying to get help from Uber I am told that they can’t find the account or the order. I have attached the account details to verify that I am a customer. • Earlier this year I used to get R300 reserved amounts and didn’t know where those were coming from. This amounted to R1200, I tried to get help and I was told the very same thing that my account is nonexistent. I use uber and ubereats everyday however my account cannot be found. As a reminder you have to comply to POPIA which was passed as Law this year.
