Delivery left on the sidewalk

I am shocked about the delivery service I received on May 27, 2025. My order from Nandos was left on the sidewalk near my workplace, which is unacceptable and contrary to standard delivery practices. The delivery driver claims to have contacted me, which is untrue. Furthermore, the driver could have left the food with the security personnel at my office, but failed to do so.

Despite my attempts to resolve this issue, Uber Eats has refused to refund me and has deducted the credit from my wallet without reimbur*****t. I have been informed that the driver followed company policy, but I find it hard to believe that any policy would permit leaving parcels on the sidewalk.
