Dealing with UberEats is just frustrating

UberEats needs to do something about their couriers. 3 out for times ive used them it has been a nightmare.

I ordered from UberEats with a promotional code for the first time. The order was on time but when courier picked it up he went to wrong address and sat outside there for ages. He didnt try phone me until 20 minutes later I had to phone him to say "Why are you just waiting outside the wrong address" he could hardly communicate with me over the phone. It was so frustrating trying to explain to this guy as he wasnt getting it.

My boyfriend then ordered and had almost the EXACT same experience with the courier. Lack of ability yo communicate and getting lost.

Reluctantly I ordered again, I had promotion so thought is was worth using and receieved great service.

My fourth and last order: estimated time was 25-30min my food only got picked up after an hour!!!! When eventually the courier picked it up, he drove in COMPLETE circles all around town, when I phoned him he once again could hardly communicate with me. He even drove up to my gate at one point and then drove away again. Even though I had walked up to the gate and was waving at him. When he did eventually make it into my complex through me phoning him and trying to explain hundreds of times how to get to me, he was like completely unresponsive as if he had been drinking or something. I ordered at 18h43 and received my good at 20h16 by which time my boyfriend had already gone to sleep and I was beyond frustrated and upset I hardly ate anything.

I dont know what their process of selecting couriers is but I am so unimpressed. I wont order from them again. its just a completely frustrating ordeal to deal with their couriers. Not worth it. More stressful trying to communicate with them.
