On the 23rd of January, I placed an order via the uber eats app with kfc. I ordered 2 all star buddy lunch boxes (that come with a buddy cold drink) cost of each including buddy R74.90 and 2 oreo krushers. I changed my buddy options from coke zero to regular coke which cost an additional R2. When my food was delivered, it was delivered without the 2 buddy cold drinks, I promptly phoned the driver who had just dropped off my meal who confirmed that he had not received any cold drinks when collecting. I subsequently raised my query with uber eats support via app and on their Facebook page.

Needless to say after countless messages back and forth uber eats had the audacity to tell me that they would only be refunding me R2.00. I asked where I would buy 2 buddy cold drinks with R2.00. My pleas fell in deaf or should I say arrogant ears.

Uber has lost a customer. My family and I will stick to Mr. D. At least they listen when one has a problem.
