ANOTHER DELIVERY GONE WRONG BY UBEREARTS

The service and delivery really suck! I ordered on 31/10/22 at 20h30 for delivery as our department was working late. After about 40mins a driver contacts me and says that the arear where I work, which is "City Deep" is very dangerous and he can't deliver here. After another 15minutes or so I get a message from another driver, asking if he's going to get a tip because I work very far away and it's not safe. Mind you, prior to this I order on UberEATS on a regular basis and there has never been an issue. I logged a request with a "supposed", customer service agent, which had no idea what to do. She actually made the situation worse. Eventually after over an hour I get an e-mail stating that my order had been cancelled. I've got 11 staff working late and waiting to eat. At 10pm when i was getting ready to leave the office, the customer service says I should wait another 30mins and if it's still not there i should log another complaint. To date UberEATS has not reached out to me to apologize. Coming from the service department myself, I can say that their service is pathetic
