***** and Theft

UberEats are running a ****! I recently purchased from Mugg & Bean through UberEAts. Mugg & Bean accepted the order and started preparing it. It was taking an exceptionally long time and the uber driver that was meant to collect left and a new one assigned to pick up the order. Someone then called to say they dont have stock of what I ordered. I told them to cancel on their side and he said they can't. The uber driver also confirmed this. I was forced to cancel the order but Uber wont refund me. I have been liaising with them for a few days and they just refuse to refund, saying their decision is final and that I should not cancel after a restaurant prepares an order. They refuse to accept that I was forced to cancel and that I had to pay for something I did not receive. I have seen numerous complaints on facebook where Ubereats refuses to refund due to a fault of their own or the restaurant, with many complaints similar to mine. They are ****ming customers like ******. This is theft and *****.
