Absolutely disgusting from UberEats, appalling, by far the WORST delivery experience i have ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the 5th September 2019 at 18:46 i ordered a full chicken with 5 prawns, two large sides and a drink over the Uber Eats application from a restaurant called Senhor Peri Peri in Hazeldean, Pretoria. Delivery address inside Silver Lakes Golf Estate. The delivery driver entered my estate at 19:04, 18 minutes after i placed the order, which i was satisfied with, it is extremely easy to get to my address. I was waiting 10, 20, 30 minutes, the driver was extremely lost, multiple complaints to Uber Eats, messages and phone calls to the delivery driver telling him to just simply input my address into Google Maps, easy peasy, to absolute no avail and no one could help sort out my problem to get the delivery delivered. At 19:40 i proceeded to get into my vehicle and i commenced to try and find him via the applications tracking function, i found him very easily on the far other side of the estate, if i could find him with ease why could he not find me? His excuse was that he is having smartphone problems. The time that i got my food was +- a full hour after i placed the order, the driver was in the estate driving around for 40 minutes!!! I got back home just before 8 from looking for the driver. The food was ice cold and not worth the money that i paid for it. It was fed to my dogs. I requested a refund from Uber so i could order another exact same meal, to which they refused. These Uber Drivers are severely under equipped and incapable of correctly delivering food if their smartphones are incapable of finding a simple location via GPS. I pay delivery fee to Uber to get my food in a timely fashion and i tipped the driver via the app when i first placed my order which i now regret. My thinking and point of view is Uber owes me another meal the same meal, i don’t want the money i merely want what i paid for, if you go sit down in a restaurant and are made to wait that long for your food and it eventually arrives ice cold the restaurant will rectify it immediately at no additional cost to the client, this was not done with me and not the case with Uber Eats
