I have SERIOUS reservations on this real estate firm. VERY VERY *****. I bought a flat earlier in the year. I agreed to buy the contents of the flat as well. I kept on asking the agent (GABRIELLA) at the Sea Point branch to send a list of the items, which she never did; saying a colleague of hers would get it to me. On the day i moved in, i found that they had ransacked the place, taking all of the expensive decorative items, crockery, cutlery, appliances, etc. When I raised my objections, they claimed that they had donated it to charity! (Without my consent of course). I dont know which charities appreciate crystal vases and decorative lampshades. I'd like to see that one day. Then they tried to replace some of it with cheap items and second-hand pots, which only added insult to injury. Secondly, Gabriella showed me the parking bay (specified as such on the OTP as well) in a good covered location on the third floor. When I moved in, they changed it to a bay on the 8th floor in an open area. This was a clear violation of the agreement. But these people rely on the fact that you have to engage expensive lawyers to stop them from getting away with these practices. Finally, I am still trying to get them to give me my spare set of keys and access tag, but they have not responded to any of my messages.
