Waste of TYMEBank

Reference: PI-70780 and I-903494

What a shame, great idea for a branchless bank, but now their disinterested customer service consultant tells me it's my responsibility to get the store manager when there is no cash at the Pick n Pay tills for my withdrawal.

Can't keep not getting cash and then you want to charge me when YOU have forced me to go to an ATM.

Please listen to the tone and disregard in your customer service consultant's voice when she tells me that its not Time Bank's problem when a Pick n Pay teller/shop doesn't have cash for my withdrawal.

All I want is for Pick n Pays to always have cash (well not always - but 6 out of 6 times from Nov to Jan different branches didn't have cash) - then to make up for inconveniencing me so many times and then forcing me to use an Absa atm on 12 Jan ( see the history I was at Pick n Pay and swiped there before being forced to go find cash elsewhere because of incompetence) reverse/refund the bank charge.

My issue here is that there is a problem at many pick n pays that as more people sign up with Tyme Bank we will need cash and Pick n Pay having insufficient cash on hand for withdrawals means there is a problem.

A solution would be to allow cash deposits at PnP without the card having to be present or allow us to withdraw at other retailers till points and not just PnP.

Your customer service consultants are also rude. More training required there

Hi Ob, please note that we're not in control of any store's cash inventory, that's handled by the stores themselves. And also please be advised that we do offer cardless deposit and withdrawal options in which you would have to create a TymeCode using the app or internet banking platform to use. The TymeBank Team
