Useless Call Centre

After having no problem to open my account and get my card, and liking the online banking and the app, even the low charges, I convinced my girlfriend to open an account. During the process of opening her account she got kicked out of the website (Might be some connection issue or error) which should not be a problem, however this happened before she was able to choose a password or pin.

She received an sms stating what her account number is, but cannot continue the process nor change her pin/password under the forget my password option as she gets an error stating "We are having some trouble verifying your details". She has phoned numerous times, have been told 4 times that "we will get back to you" but no one ever does. Finally she asked that they close her account so she can start from scratch, which they will not do. Tymebank has made a fool of me for recommending them and providing such terrible customer service. I get the idea that no-one knows how to address the issue, that everyone keeps directing it away and hoping someone else solves it. This is unacceptable.

Furthermore, what a partner to choose in Pick 'n Pay. I never go to pick and pay because the experience is always poor at the shop near me at Kolennade Retail Centre in Montana Pretoria. I have since given that shop a chance and right off the bat I was proven right. I approached a teller where I was first in line, my items were scanned and placed in a trolley already standing there, I was confused when a woman came back from fetching something. To my amazement the teller could not tell the difference between a muscular man with a beard a small woman with long hair. Then, the grocery packer stood there like an idiot and refused to remove my items from the trolley, the lady customer had to remove my items herself. A manager was called to remove the items from the ladies bill where after we stood there waiting for what seemed like forever with no one coming. This caused me to make a scene and only then did the grocery packer go in search of the manager, she came back with the managers card and removed the items. During this whole process these two people, the cashier who made the mistake and the grocery packer were chatting away and enjoying themselves.

Point being, your poor choice of partner is affecting your customers by receiving uninformed and frankly useless service from your call centre as well as **** customer service from pnp. This is not reserved to the P'nP near my house as I have experienced similar customer service from a brand new P'nP at Zambezi Junction in Montana Pretoria.
