TymeBank unashamedly siphoning money out of my account.

I tried to make an online purchase on a popular online store and the order did not go through. According to the store, I had insufficient funds to process the order. So I re-checked my bank balance and transactions and found that I have been charged (by TymeBank) over four times now for a "failed international purchase". Not only have I been charged WAY MORE than 2% of the original purchase price, I've been charged over four times over the span of two days and I had to temporarily lock my card to stop it (hopefully).

I called the customer care line and the consultant told me I had been charged so many times because I had attempted to make the purchase more than once which is not the case (and I expressed that very clearly to her). I made the purchase once. It failed and so I investigated.

I've completely emptied my TymeBank Account and will consider permanently closing my account soon because there are too many little annoying fees and now TymeBank ahas ****** me of my money and claims I made multiple attempts which is false and I can prove it.

Do yourself a favor and bank with a different bank. Because it's never TymeBank's fault when something goes wrong with your money. You work way to hard to put yourself through this. Don't even get me started on the security features. Where is the two step verification process? Is that why and how TymeBank is able to siphon money out of my account through illegitimate fees that essentially end up being a she said they said ("you made multiple payment attempts" when I did not and the only entity that gains from those alleged multiple attempts is TymeBank)?

Throw the whole bank away!

So you won't even attempt to resolve my issue? You would rather refer me to the Ombudsman of Banking Services than investigate and resolve this issue yourselves? You would rather refer me to the Ombudsman than explain how I was charged multiple times for a purchase payment that shouldn't have failed in the first place?

And what's even more disappointing is that I can tell that your response to my review is a copy and paste response that completely absolves you of any responsibility. As long as it looks like you've responded (privately) then it looks like you've done something. Unfortunately TymeBank has still done nothing to solve my issue 🚮.
