Tymebank *****ulent unauthorized hold
I have been banking with Tymebank since they opened their doors. I hold a private and business account with them. Last week on Friday 28 June 2024, i received an sms stating a debit hold on my business account, which then affected my private account, which, if I may add, is absolutely absurd as they both hold individual account numbers. Secondly, according to my attorney, placing a hold onto an account without a court order is ******* as that would mean I can transfer money into anyone's account and request a *****ulent hold of any sort of lie. Be that as it may, I contacted Tymebank ***** and was told that the hold was placed by a Nedbank client who transferred R3000 into the account. That was money into my business account for a service provided and the gentleman and I had words but he received all his items. So now my account is on hold due to a lie, due to a he said she said. Tymebank please show me where my service offered was not completed, as you know you're unable to. If it was this easy to place holds on accounts then the entire South Africa would be doing such to obtain their money back whether borrowed or given. You had no right to place a hold on either accounts as I am instituting a damages claim for a loss of income as I was unable to receive funds or transact or provide my services. You cannot randomly place holds onto banking accounts without an actual court order to show a guilty party. You are in the wrong!
