TymeBank - good on paper, but very buggy experience
I've been with Tyme a few months, was initially very impressed by the quick and easy application, and very fluid digital interface. They are by FAR the easiest bank to apply with, and I've tried a few this year.
However, after some time using them, I've grown less fond. Initially, my entire savings account went missing - I needed to open a support ticket to get it back. Then, I ran into difficulties transferring and saving money from other banks, with the message that my account was not FICA'd. I took this up with support, who assured me they'd fix it. 2 months and at least 4 separate tickets later, no help. At this point, my account has been rendered essentially useless, as I'm unable to transfer or transact any more. I was told there is no way to help me.
For a digital bank, there are a few a fundamental elements missing, such as support actually reacting to email, or an online portal to see what's happening with your support tickets. The only way to contact them is via the phone, and they often (and I mean more than 50%) have nobody manning the call centre, even during work days.
So yes, it all looks good on paper, but caveat emptor, there are many, many bugs.
