TYMEBANK does not keep your money safe. Be warned.

After a ********** transaction went through my account, without an SMS notification, I reported it. I did click on a bit.ly link, so I have to take responsibility for that. What is disturbing though is the following: 1. A ***** signed into my internet profiele, moved moet from my goalsave account, and created a tymecode, withdrew money all without the bank notifying my via SMS, OR an OTP. All other bank send OTP's; 2. The ***** withdrew the money without the bank notifying me via SMS about the SAID transaction; 3. I reported this on 7 May 2021 and only got a response today (19 May 2021 @ 13h40) 4. TYMEBANK was fully aware of this ****, which caught thousands of customers (according to the bank themselves) and only warned their customers After the fact when you Phone the ***** line to report an incident; 5. No other single communication went out, no SMS, no emails; 6. TYMEBANK carries no indemnity insurance for such ********** activities according to the bank; 7. The investigating officer at TYMEBANK SAID I must take full responsibility because I clicked the link; 8. I had to Phone TYMEBANK 7 times to try and het feedback; 9. The response from the investigator at TYMEBANK when I said I will go to the ombudsman and close my account was: "Oh, ok Sir" 10. I Will not leave this here. I will take every avenue to at least get a shared responsibility for What happened in this instance. I think in this day and age, people should rather only trust the major Banks and give these digitale ones a miss. I will warn everyone I know, and encourage everyone to rather move their funds to a safe commercial bank. TYMEBANK, your blasé, "we dont have a responsibility towards our customers" will cost you in the end. What a disgrace!!

Hi Eduard, the TymeBank team (or TymeBank employees) will never ask for your OTP as this can be used to access your account and/or authorize transactions on your account. If you’ve shared your OTP and your account was accessed unfortunately we can’t assist further, you need to change your login details immediately. The TymeBank Team
