TymeBank card replacement

I went to TymeBank outlet at Jet Sam Ntuli to do my card replacement because it has expired and only to find out that I’m being charged R70.00 , I asked why I’m being charged for card replacement that expired and I didn’t get the answer so I feel like this is not fair to be charged for something that expired it’s not like I lost the card or something
