TymeBank Blocking My International Funds No Support or Written Confirmation Provided

I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with TymeBank’s handling of my international transactions. I’ve been a TymeBank user for a while and regularly used my card ending in 1316 to receive international payments from my broker (XM). Everything worked fine in the past until recently.

On two occasions, XM processed withdrawals to my TymeBank card:

R266.02 (earlier withdrawal)

R426.98 (recent split withdrawal) Neither of these funds have reflected in my account. When I contacted XM, they informed me that TymeBank no longer supports international deposits — which came as a shock because I was never notified by TymeBank of this policy change. Even worse, the bank’s support insists the funds will “bounce back,” but weeks later I still have nothing.

Here’s the major issue: My broker (XM) now requires a formal letter or written confirmation from TymeBank stating that:

1. I lost my card ending in 1316 and had it replaced.

2. TymeBank no longer accepts international payments, which is why funds cannot be received.

I’ve requested this from TymeBank several times via email, app chat, and social media but all I get are copy-paste responses with links that are not valid proof for my broker. I even offered to forward the message to XM myself, yet they refuse to provide this in writing.

Now my funds are stuck in limbo, XM can’t reverse or re-route the money unless they get what TymeBank is refusing to provide.

This is not just bad service, it’s irresponsible banking. I need TymeBank to urgently:

Provide written confirmation that the card is no longer active

Officially state that international incoming payments are no longer accepted

I want this matter resolved immediately. If not, I’ll take this further to the Ombudsman for Banking Services, as it directly affects my ability to access my own funds. Moses Mlambo Email: *** Card ending in 1316
