Stick to another bank.
I have a debit hold on my account because Dischem reverse charges and then recharges your account. Tymebank takes 3 days to escalate so essentially Dischem's horrible system and Tymebanks commitment to being slow means I have to wait 3 days until someone decides to remove that block from my account. The debit hold does allow TymeBank to charge you R0.50 for every single notification. It's when things go wrong.

02 Dec 2025, 10:34The feedback is that I have to wait. Some communication would be nice, like knowing who the merchant is or forcing them to make a debit in due course. Because Dischem ecommerce team treats incompetence as a KPI.
