Shockingly Poor Service – TymeBank Cannot Handle a Simple Reversal
Shockingly Poor Service – TymeBank Cannot Handle a Simple Reversal | ***
I am absolutely appalled by the level of incompetence I have experienced from TymeBank.
I mistakenly deposited money into the account of my late gardener, who passed away some time ago. His daughter works for me and shares the same surname, which caused the confusion. I immediately contacted TymeBank to reverse the transaction, which should be a simple and routine request.
Instead, I have been forced to make multiple calls, each lasting 30 minutes to over an hour, repeating the same information to different consultants who all seem completely unprepared to deal with the matter.
The worst part? TymeBank informed me that they “cannot get hold of a dead man” when trying to contact the deceased account holder. This is not only unprofessional, it is insensitive and shows a shocking lack of internal processes.
My case reference is RT19654, yet there is still no solution, no follow-up, and no accountability from TymeBank. dean ***

Title: TymeBank Claims “Insufficient Funds” in a Deceased Account – No Answers, No Resolution Complaint:
Surprise, surprise — TymeBank finally gave me a call back. Instead of resolving my issue, I was given yet another excuse. I mistakenly deposited money into the account of my late gardener. I followed TymeBank’s instructions and sent them the death certificate and a copy of the deceased’s ID. Now they have come back saying that the daughter must go to the Master of the Court to get a Letter of Authority before they can “open another case.” But what really shocked me is this:
TymeBank is now saying that the account has “insufficient funds.” This makes absolutely no sense.
I was the one who made the deposit by mistake — so where did the money suddenly go? When I asked TymeBank whether they have told the daughter what happened to the funds, they admitted they cannot explain where the money went and cannot tell the daughter anything either. So once again, I am left with:
- No reversal
- No explanation
- No answers about where the money disappeared to
- Just more excuses and more delays
