Non-responsive and frustrating service
I wrote a review two weeks ago after being ignored by TymeBank regarding a ***** case that took place on the 11th of January 2025. When they received my review from HelloPeter they called to share a case number and advised that my case will be escalated to their ***** department, which was shocking because a week before I resorted to writing a review with HelloPeter they said the same thing. Anyway, they also promised that I’ll have my money back within five days after that last call, which would’ve been Monday, 27th January and I still didn’t get my money. I sent a WhatsApp message with a case number they gave me, and no one is attending to my messages. TymeBank is really frustrating me, especially when I know that other banks would’ve handled this type of issue within three days, and it’s taking them a month - pathetic to say the least! I’m disappointed because I’ve been vouching for them and advising people to open accounts with them, not realising that I’ll be in this situation. South African banks are failing us and it’s worrying because we can’t be facing the same issues and they’re not finding solutions to mitigate the risks involved with cybersecurity. They’re making things easy for ********s and leave their clients vulnerable and frustrated with no status updates of their cases. TYMEBANK YOU CAN DO BETTER!!!
NO REASON PROVIDED, NO EXPLANATION, NO REPORT OF WHAT TRANSPIRED. Why on earth should I be expected to accept this, and look the other way. Tymebank expects us to deposit money into the account, ********s should hack and do as they please with our hard-earned money and no one should be accountable for this? I honestly regret transferring money into that account on the 10th of January, I really regret it. At this point, I just want my money back so I can close the account. Their lack of professionalism, feedback and empathy is appalling to say the least! Where do you think I get money from to call you when you keep sending me SMSs to call you back? This is insane.
