Instant expensive EFT App payment set as default payment type that catches users who forget to check.
Setting default payment on your app to instant feels like trickery and very dishonest. Often for quickly refunding my accounts at other banks even for as little as R10 you try and charge me R7... This feels very deliberate and *********. Please use normal eft as default or let the user chose the default eft payment type. As it feels like you are trying to trick me to use very expensive instant eft payments (Capitec is R7.50 FIXED instant payment fee for up to R100 000).

17 Mar 2023, 12:37Thanks for your response. Please just change default EFT payment to a normal payment. If you want to monetize more then offer affordable convenience. For small amounts I'd gladly pay a few cents or 1% for the convenience of an instant payment. Then more people will use immediate payments and you make more money. Infact I would be very favorable towards a sliding scale. EG 1% fee on immediate payments of R100 or less. 0.5% on over R100 etc etc... then I'd probably use immediate payments all the time as would many people as I get affordable convenience over free non instant payments. But default EFT payments should still be set to the cheapest or at least most used payment option or set by app user.
