I want access of the account asap
Dear TymeBank Customer Support,
I am writing again with extreme anger and frustration regarding my bank account being placed under review without any proper explanation. This is now the SECOND TIME this is happening to me, and it is completely unacceptable.
Account Holder: Mr S Thabane Bank: TymeBank Account Number: *** Branch Code: 678910
ID Number: *** Cell: *** Email: ***
I have just received R1000 into my account, and now suddenly I cannot access my own money. I want to make it very clear that I do not know of any wrongdoing on my side. I have not done anything *******, suspicious, or against any banking rules.
This repeated action of blocking my account without warning or clear communication is frustrating, stressful, and unfair. The fact that this is happening for the second time shows a serious problem on your side, not mine.
I depend on this money for urgent needs, especially for my school children. Right now, I am unable to provide for them because you have restricted my access to my own funds. This is not just an inconvenience — it is affecting my family directly.
I am demanding the following IMMEDIATELY:
- A full and clear explanation of why my account is under review again - What exactly triggered this review - Why this issue keeps happening repeatedly - Immediate removal of this restriction
I need my account to be fully operational again BEFORE 08 April at 23:59. This is urgent and non-negotiable. I cannot wait days while my children suffer due to delays caused by your system.
If this issue is not resolved within this time frame, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further, including filing formal complaints with relevant authorities and taking further action. I will not tolerate being treated like this again.
Fix this issue NOW and restore my access to my funds without any further delays.
I expect urgent feedback and resolution.
Yours sincerely, Mr S Thabane
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are really sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this situation has caused you. We understand how important it is for you to have this resolved quickly and correctly. Please note that we are investigating the issue and someone will reach out to you.
Kind Regards,

This is now the SECOND OCCURRENCE where my account has been placed under review without proper explanation. Your actions have resulted in the blocking of my funds, including a recent deposit of R1000, which I am currently unable to access.
I place on record the following:
1. I deny any involvement in *****ulent, suspicious, or ******** activity.
2. I have not been provided with any formal explanation, evidence, or justification for the restriction.
3. Your institution has failed to communicate clearly, leaving me financially stranded.
It has come to my attention that this matter may have arisen due to a third-party report based on a misunderstanding, namely:
Caden Browne
9 Yvette Lane
Sandton
Gauteng
2191
South Africa
If this individual initiated a report against my account in error, then your actions in restricting my funds without proper investigation or verification are both negligent and unjust.
For clarity, the payments linked to this individual are as follows:
R200
R525
R325
R525
R370
R200
R450
To date, I have not been informed which specific transaction is under dispute, nor have I been given an opportunity to respond. This lack of procedural fairness is unacceptable.
Furthermore, the R1000 currently in my account (received from Richard) is unrelated to any alleged issue, yet it remains withheld. This constitutes an ******** restriction of access to my own funds.
Additionally, I am currently experiencing a serious access issue due to a lost SIM card. As a result, I am unable to receive OTPs or calls from the bank, which further prevents me from accessing my account or resolving this matter through normal channels. I request urgent assistance in updating or bypassing this verification process so that I can regain access to my funds.
Your actions have caused direct financial harm, preventing me from meeting urgent personal responsibilities, including supporting my child. I urgently need access to the R1000 for my son, and your continued restriction is placing me under severe financial distress.
This is no longer a minor inconvenience — it is a serious matter affecting my livelihood and dependents.
---
FORMAL DEMAND
Accordingly, I hereby DEMAND the following within 48 HOURS of receipt of this notice:
1. A full written explanation outlining the exact reason for the account restriction
2. Identification of the specific transaction(s) under review
3. A detailed explanation as to why this issue has occurred repeatedly
4. Immediate removal of all restrictions on my account
5. Immediate access to all funds, including the R1000 currently held
6. Urgent assistance in resolving my SIM/OTP access issue

Mr S Thabane
