Do not bank with tymebank

Tymebank declined my deposit of R10 000.00, hence the funds sat in limbo somewhere (i guess it was in Tymebanks coffers) until the source bank queried the whereabouts of the deposit and retrieved it.

The call centre operator was not aware that Tymebank limits deposits! Hence a wasted call!

An email to the service centre revealed that the funds were not credited to my account, due to the amount being over my allowed limit. I have never encountered this stupidity in any bank operating within South Africa.

This stupidity has cost me two weeks of searching for these funds and lost business opportunities. Clearly Tymebank is not targeted towards a general public who want to use cheap service to transact.

The result of this stupidity by Tymebank will translates to my lack of trust in this institution and i will remove my custom. Tymebank is not a bank for the South African public.
