Declined card but payment went off my account

I swiped my card at pick n pay but it was declined however money left my account. I went to tymebank kiosk and they told me that funds will automatically reverse back into my account. I have since been waiting. This is an inconvinience because I ended up using my son's transport fees to pay efor the goods which were alreafy in my trolly.
