Studies and refund of registration denied by Two Oceans Graduate Institute

I emailed Two Oceans on 25 August 2025 to send me confirmation of my enrolment to which they responded that I was not enrolled for the current semester. This was impossible because I had sent all the required documentation and paid the R1000 registration fee.

They responded to say that my enrolment had been suspended due to an owing balance of R20,000. I said this was impossible because even though I registered last year to study I was not able to study due to my son being very ill and sent medical results on 26 February 2025 showing that he was in pre-renal failure. I even suggested that their IT department check and see that I did not in fact access any modules last year.

I then received a call on Friday 05 September to confirm that the owing balance had been waived, however they I could not study this semester and that I would need to register again in January. Furthermore, the R1000 registration amount for this semester would not be refunded.

I emailed them and asked for everything detailed in the telephone call to be detailed in writing. To date I have not received anything official. I emailed them on 10 September and appealed to them to reconsider this decision because without being able to study and have my temporary SACE I would lose my current employment as educator and that I’m a single mom of two children, so I cannot afford to wait until January to register again. I was sent an email on the 10 September to say the registrar would respond to me but I've had no response. Can anyone help me please.
