Turnberry Gap Cover

If I could give a zero rating I would. Turnberry sold me on Gap Cover many years ago. You are led to believe that Gap Cover will cover any shortfall in the vent your Medical Aid does not settle the full amount. I submitted a claim for the first time ever with Turnberry, and the claim was rejected. They pointed me to the terms and conditions, which are very vague, saying they only pay shortfalls if you are hospitalized. Most medical aids pay for everything when you are hospitalized, why do you need top-up cover? They also do not cover shortfalls in dental fees, and absolutely no payment for psychological fees, even though their terms do not stipulate anywhere that they do not cover psychological fees. They are quite happy taking thousands from you but do not even try to pay a little when you make a claim. I recommend you do not use them at all. I am very disappointed and canceled with them immediately.
