Unauthorized Charges, Poor Communication, and Vehicle Withheld
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I took my vehicle in for repairs and specifically asked to be informed of the costs before any work was carried out or parts were purchased. Despite this, parts were purchased without my approval, and I was only informed of the cost afterwards. When I questioned why I was being charged for parts that I had not authorized, I was told that my vehicle would remain at the workshop until the account was paid. At no stage was I provided with a quotation that I approved before these costs were incurred. To make matters worse, my vehicle was not repaired as expected, leaving me without transport for an extended period and forcing me to arrange and pay for a tow truck at additional expense. These are costs that I had not budgeted for and would not have incurred had proper communication taken place. The lack of communication, failure to obtain authorization before incurring costs, and the decision to withhold my vehicle have caused significant inconvenience, financial strain, and frustration. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this workshop to ensure that all quotations and approvals are obtained in writing before any work is undertaken. Owner Mike and son in law Calvin On the 14 October I took my already services car to Turbo Smart to have the turbo done. After having my for a month and lying to me about bolts and nuts still my turbo was not working properly. He then **** and said it has nothing to do with the turbo but then diagnosed my car on his AI app and said it was the clutch kit, which I paid for a brand new one. After having my car for almost two months more he said its he replaced the clutch kit brand new and now its the throttle body that needs to be replaced. My car now sounds like a tractor when I brought my vehicle in not one sound and was just services by the dealership, new bolts, new oil ect. This is when the problem started and I was been sworn by the owner Mike and then accessing me of slandering him son in law Calvin and his daughter. I now took my car back and went to a registered dealership and paid R8000 for them to tell me the problem on my vehicle to my surprise the turbo has been refurbished but not boosting (not working) the clutch kit is the original one and was never changed, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my throttle body, so these guys are ****s and *****ulent. The fly wheel on my vehicle was damaged lots of mountings and *****s and brackets missing off my vehicle. Inadequate oil was filled and not new oil. When I confronted them they willing to refund me my money for the clutch kit but refusing to refund me for my turbo and all the other labour cost and included a service fee yet the oil in my car is old and dirty. Part of my vehicle is missing " hangers and brackets for my exhaust" flaps for the clutch plate. Bolts and nuts. Now when you confront them they threaten you and swear you and think its OK to ***** and lie to people and I see this is a trend.. The people that I have confronted and spoken to on this forum the customers thank you for willing to stand for the truth and expose this company and its owner Mike and son in law Calvin they are not trustworthy and this company is *****ulent. They damage cars
They said that my car would take 2 days and it took two weeks. I don’t know what they did to my car but it has been smoking very bad since. I returned the car and they made me buy sensors a very expensive part and still my car smokes.

TURBOSMART BULL****
Don't take your vehicle to these people... They will only watse your time and cost you more money down the line... We waited 1 month for out vehicle to be done.. When we finally got the vehicle back... Drove it for 3 months then we started having issues again with the turbo and tune that they installed... We had to take the vehicle to another place just to find out they never installed a hybrid turbo that we paid for.. They installed another aftermarket turbo on the Vehicle... 3 months later we have to redo everything on the Vehicle again.

When we finally got the vehicle back... Drove it for 3 months then we started having issues again with the turbo and tune that they installed... We had to take the vehicle to another place just to find out they never installed a hybrid turbo that we paid for..
