I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a disturbing incident involving an individual who falsely claimed to be an employee of Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). This person engaged in *****ulent behavior, violated my privacy, and issued threats that I believe require immediate attention.

Incident Overview:

The individual approached students in course groups, claiming to be affiliated with TUT, and offered to provide exam results in exchange for a monetary payment. After I transferred the requested money to his account (I have screenshots of the bank details and transfer), the individual did not provide the promised exam results. When I realized I had been ****med, I warned other students in the group by posting about the individual’s actions. In retaliation, the individual sent me a message demanding that I take down my post. When I refused, he publicly shared my exam marks, along with my ID number and student number. Additionally, the individual threatened to deregister me if I continued with my registration, causing significant distress. Although he deleted the threatening messages afterward, I have screenshots of other exchanges as evidence. My Concerns:

Exposure of Personal Information: The public posting of my sensitive details (exam results, ID number, and student number) is a serious privacy violation that could lead to identity theft or other malicious activities. Abuse of Access to University Systems: The individual’s ability to access my personal academic data raises concerns about the security of TUT’s systems. Harassment and Threats: The threats to deregister me have caused considerable anxiety about my academic future. Evidence Available:

Screenshots of the messages where the individual requested payment, along with the bank account details for the transfer. Though some of the threatening messages were deleted, I still have sufficient evidence to support my claims. Request for Action:
