Tshwane university of technology Online students appealing for NSFAS allowances that were paid into the institution

Tshwane university of technology Online students appealing regarding their NSFAS allowances that were paid in May 2024 NSFAS funded TUT online learners that are studying Administrative Information management and Contact center management for 2024 are faced with a big challenge. According to NSFAS payment was made in May 2024 for all online students who was funded for year 2024. Mr Boy Tlou Tshwane University of Technology Financial aid representative is denying the payment made to online students while NSFAS checked each student details that 5 modules per student was paid in May 2024. request students to register more than one module in order for them to receive their allowances. The students are suffering lacking resources because they come from disadvantages backgrounds that needs to study, hence their parents cannot afford to pay fees for their children's tertiary education. The TUT AIM online class has +/-10 students that were funded by NSFAS and waiting to receive their allowances. Please note that one student was given preferences to receive her allowance last month in May, Calvin from Financial aid office arranged with this student to receive her allowances. 18 Jun 2024 at 11:00 Mr Boy Tlou is denying the payment made by NSFAS to the institution bank account, this is very urgent some of the students are struggling with resources in order for them to enhance their online education.

18 Jun 2024 at 11:00 Mr Boy Tlou from Financial aid office was very discriminatory with us as online students, he was underminin our chosen qualification and was very unprofessional. We had an appointment with Calvi from Financial aid office on Wednesday 18 June to discuss our concerns regarding the allowances NSFAS paid to the institution. NSFAS did pay for our allowances Boy Tlou is denying to release the allowances to us online students.
