Zero consideration for customers

Very disappointed with the customer service from truworths. I purchased a pair of puma sneakers on the 14th of Feb I noticed they started tearing on both the shoes in the same area unfortunately it was after 6 months and when I took it in it was sent to the quality assessment dept but just found out it was delined because it's more than 6 months. I don't think this is fair because a pair of sneakers is not worn everyday so it should be taken into consideration as this pair of shoes is not cheap . We spend thousands in truworths and if this is the service that's given then people should know not to spend this much on branded items because it is strictly limited to a 6 month warranty regardless of the price. The cost of living is extremely high and ro know I now have a pair of sneakers which I paid R1000 for only used a few times and I can't wear them anymore neither can it be repaired because it's a net pair of shows.
