YOU TREATED A CUSTOMER AS A ******** WHILE ALL I WAS TRYING TO DO IS BUY A MOTHERS DAY GIFT

I have just had the most displeasing experience at your Church Street branch in Pietermaritzburg.

Firstly on Friday I went to the above mentioned branch to purchase Mothers Day gifts for my mum. I had my Drivers License as proof of Identification as I have never received my card after numerous requests from the said mentioned branch prior. My License is expired but I have previously used it successfully to purchase from the same branch. The manager refused to assist me and when I enquired about my card, they shunned me off saying that they don’t know anything about it. I even showed them the sms’s on my Cell Phone from Truworths, still they did not want to even issue me with a temporary card seeing that I can receive card a request pin and assist me in that way.

I don’t see how I should be treated badly and inconvenienced due to Truworths incompetence in me receiving my card. I could not even give my Mum a Mothers Day gift because of this. Sad to see how you treat customers.

I returned to the branch today with my I.D book to buy the same gifts so I can at least give my Mum her gift today, although a day late. Today was even more embarrassing as I was treated as a ******** front of other customers as the staff was making me look as a *****ster. Obviously this was flagged on your system by the previous staff members from the past Friday visit. I took time off work both days to merely come to your store to simply buy my mum a gift and I have to be treated as a ********?

The person on the phone said I must make an immediate payment of R53.00 to purchase? Attached you will see that I got an SMS from yourselves saying that a payment of R53.00 is due in June, so why do I have to pay that now to use my account facility?

Never in my Life did I have to go through such embarrassing ordeal. I will pay your R53.00 and never ever buy from the Truworths group again. Truworths need to train this Branch staff on Customer Service immediately, they have no clue on how to treat customers.
