Why?
Hi, I booked my phone for repair on the 13/02/2015

The problem was battery not charging, it was hot. I received a call from Richard today informing me that the phone is back and he is taking it back for repair? *** is that? When I booked it, I was told that when phones are booked for repair, they are taken to mtn for diagnosis... but surprisingly the phone came back without diagnosis, apparently mtn didn't find any fault. I am told the phone has physical damage? Physical damage you mean scratches? Show me any phone which h has no scratch after a month use.

I have requested Richard to get his manager to call me, I am waiting for the call. As I have said, I need my money refunded because really I cannot wait this long while my phone goes in and out of Truworths and MTN hardly a month after buying it. Please lets stop playing. if need be, get a technician from MTN to explain why this delay.

The phone has Waranty and Guarantee and was merely a month old. Why the F#@F would I book it for battery problem if it was not ? let us stop using our customers asseblief.
Thank you for your post.
We have investigated your concerns raised, and contacted the relevant consultant mentioned in your post.
As previously explained, as part of our Cell Phone Returns Procedure, once a problem is reported, the handset, including all its accessories, must be submitted for an assessment to determine the cause of the fault. You were also advised that when the problem involves the battery of the phone, it is compulsory that it be sent to MTN for assessment.
We established that your cell phone was indeed assessed by MTN, but was declined due to the poor condition of the handset. You were informed that you will have to return to the store in order to sign a document authorizing the repair of the phone by MTN.
We regret that you are not pleased with the outcome to your query. Should you have any other concerns, kindly contact us on ***, or send an e-mail to: ***.
Regards,
Charmaine
