11 Mar 2016, 14:22Hello sbu2009,
We thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and affording us the opportunity to respond.
According to the invoice date on your Truworths account, the watch in question was purchased in August 2015, which is more than six months ago. Having said this, the strap does not form part of the mechanism of the watch and therefore it is not covered under the warrantee.
We acknowledge your frustration regarding this matter however trust that you will be able to understand our stance in this regard.
Kind regards,
Lynn
